Direct To Garment printing is a fancy new technology that is very cool! If you don't want to pay setup costs and have a multicolour design it's definitely for you!

So, "How does it work?" you ask, well, the idea is that the t shirt is put through a printer which then prints directly onto the garment. Imagine borrowing a t shirt from a cuddly toy, putting the t shirt through your home inkjet printer, and making a print jam during the process, it's like that only 10 times the size and no print jam!

Just like your home printer (unless you still have a black and white dot matrix) we can print full colour with DTG printing, which means if you have a full colour design and you don't want to pay screen setup charges this can be a good option.

Quality wise you will get a print that is soft to touch and will last, however if you want the highest quality and perfect colour matching we would always recommend screen printing.

To get a high quality print we need to be provided with high quality artwork. To get the best possible result we need artwork at 300 DPI at the actual size of the print, or even better a vector image. For images that are being printed onto coloured garments we require the background to be transparent.
